The People

The people who set the room.

The manifesto tells you what the House believes. What follows tells you who keeps it curious — a small, growing circle of people whose evenings LÉMAN ÊTRE is built from.

A group of curious minds

Vanessa Schlauri

Founder of VITAE, a Zürich clinic for respiratory intelligence and longevity, where she has spent years on the science of how we breathe, recover, and last. LÉMAN ÊTRE began as the room she wanted to be in — one where curiosity, culture, and human connection were the finest company.

Manuel Riegner

Founder of the Zürich-based Surf Your Life Institute — a transdisciplinary program for synchronising the body's rhythms with modern life, and a training academy for physicians and coaches. He writes on longevity capital and the physician-as-coach model, and lends the House its clinical calm.

Samuel Seemann

A technology entrepreneur and board member of Edition VFO, the Zürich institution founded in 1948 that champions original print art. Samuel moves between building software and stewarding art, and brings the House its instinct for what's next.

Reza Kazemipour

California-based, with two decades across venture, mergers, and the boardroom — now CEO of Sixth Ring, the first generative-AI wellness platform trained on Olympic performance data.

Katie Kerins

Dubai-based founder of Mujō, a women-first creatine wellness house, and co-founder of Yoke Communications, the Business Bay creative agency. She is building the House in Dubai.

Diana Maldonado

Based between the UAE and Ibiza, Diana came to movement first and to the nervous system soon after — studying yoga, breathwork, and somatic therapy because her own healing asked for it. Through Human State, her practice of polyvagal theory, breath, movement, and stillness, she has held space for more than 7,000 people across retreats and immersions. She brings the House its somatic depth — the craft of returning a body to itself.

Dr. Jacques Durand

A Paris physician turned knowledge entrepreneur — founder of Longevity 960 and host of the Digital Fashion and AI Movie Awards at Cannes. His practice threads through immersive tech, expedition science, and the quieter craft of wellbeing.

The open table

The community grows by heart. If you make things, gather people, or follow your curiosity further than most — and something in the manifesto found you — write to us. Every note is read.

Founding Members

The first fifty at the table.

The first fifty to take a seat become Founding Members — a place kept for life. The first word on every gathering, a permanent chair in the founding room, and a direct line to the people behind the House.

By invitation, and by quiet application. A founding contribution is part of it — its shape talked through in person, never asked for on a form.
